No5 Chambers is a successful and approachable barristers' chambers which is committed to working in partnership with its clients and delivering the highest standard of advocacy and service from its offices in Birmingham, London and Bristol. It currently boasts the largest membership of any other chambers in the UK. The challenge with the client was to produce a system that allowed you to access member pages from a number of different routes, but so that the member pages would be representative of the route that the user had taken, displaying or hiding certain information as necessary. My role with this project spanned both information architecture and design, as demonstrated by my working navigation chart below. I really wanted to give the site a fluid feel, so it was easy and intuitive for the user to access whatever information they required from wherever they were, ensuring the evolution of the site was maintained and the user-journey undisturbed. Since going live the site has been awarded 'Best Chambers Website' at the Fast Fifty Awards.
